Since 2004, SARA have supported a variety of charities (both local and national) as well as providing grants for youth projects in the Sudley Area. 

2008 saw the introduction of the SARA Youth Recognition Awards, giving grants of up to £200 to a variety of youth related schemes. 

In 2010, SARA re-introduced the Charity of the Year, with KIND being selected for the period 2010-2011.
